Why 0.8–1.2 mm

Anti-corrosion coatings need a surface they can lock onto. S330 produces an anchor pattern deep enough for the primer to grip, and shallow enough that moisture does not collect in the valleys and lift the coating later.

For most steel structure jobs — workshops, bridges, storage tanks — that lands right where the specification wants it.

Longer life, less dust

Compared with S280, S330 holds its shape for more cycles before it breaks down, so less of what you buy ends up as dust in the collector. Compared with S390, it reaches the same anchor depth while using less tonnage.

Lower breakage also means less wear on the blast wheel and a cleaner working environment — which matters when the environmental inspector visits.
